We always like to bring our own water bottles if the park allows it. It saves a lot of money and you can refill them at bathrooms or drinking fountains when they are empty.
Weekdays are the slowest days and you can make mor of your theme park trip if you go on a weekday.
If you have little kids, try to bring a small stroller as it is easier to manuver. Also remember that a lot of theme parks rent strollers, so you dont always have to bring your own.
When visiting a theme park, to avoid the crowds, arrive early and head for the attractions/rides on the left side of the theme park. Most people start their visit to a theme park on the right side of the park so the left side will be less crowded.
print your vouchers before you get to the theme park! that way you can go straight to the front of the line.
We all hate queues we play games like eye spy or naming things you find in theme parks or passing on a word and linking it with another word, you will find that people in the queue join in with you, its a great way to pass long queues
Make sure your kids have a note of your mobile phone number on them in case they get lost, and know to find a member of park staff to help them.
Keep an eye on broken down rides, most parks will work hard to get a ride back in working order, and if you just happen to be passing by when the ride re-opens, you can stroll right to the front of the queue!
