Boo Blasters is a 3D interactive shooting dark ride located at Kings Island amusement park. The ride is a renovation of the park's "Scooby Doo and the Haunted Castle" dark ride, whose re-themeing coincided with the park's transition from Nickelodeon and Hanna-Barbera characters to Peanuts characters exclusively.
Visitors sit in omnimover-style Boo-Mobiles which carry them through the towers and dungeons of the haunted castle, using Boo Blasters to scare away the ghosts led by the evil Boocifer.
Each of the five former Paramount Parks (Kings Island, Kings Dominion, Canada's Wonderland, California's Great America, and Carowinds) has a Boo Blasters ride, with small differences that mirror the differences between their former Scooby Doo incarnations ride systems and storylines.
