Barnstormer at Dollywood

Barnstormer is an S&S Screamin' Swing attraction, opened in March 2011 at a cost of $5.5 million. In common with similar attractions around the world, it features two swinging arms which can hold 16 riders each.

Barnstormer sees riders swinging to a maximum height of 81 feet, and features a maximum rotation of 230 degrees. Reaching speeds of up to 45 miles per hour, it is named after the stunt pilots of the 1920s who performed daring feats in biplanes over the rural areas.
