Water flume ride

Tidal Wave is a 'Shoot the Chute' style ride which stands at over 85 ft in Amity Cove. Riders sit within a reinforced boat which uses lap-bars for safety. The boat is dropped down the track into the ride's lagoon which is filled with 3 million gallons of water. The impact causes water to shoot up into the air and land on the rider as well as shooting forwards into the 'Splash Zone' which is an area outside of the ride in which spectators can watch.

This is a waterchute and does exactly what it says on the tin!
The drop is quite exhillarating as well. Queue times are always reasonable and the staff excellent in getting you on and off the ride which helps reduce the times. Be warned-You will not get splashed on this ride-you will get drenched!! just as you think that you have escaped the worst of the drenching, you look towards the sky and see a mountaing of water coming back down towards you!!
