Rush is a Screaming Swing flat ride. The ride is made up of two arms which hold 32 riders and uses compressed air to propel the arms up to a height of 60 feet in opposite directions. Riders are secured into place by lap bars. The ride has lost its crown as the world largest Screaming Swing to a larger model which opened at Cedar Point.

Swinging eck!!!
Submitted by robolots on Friday, August 26, 2011 13:36

No matter how many times either my daughter or I ride this, we have never tired of it and that stands as a great testimomy to the ride.
Quite simply it is just a big swing, but the effect of pendulum when it reaches it's extremes must be the same of being pushed of a ten storey building!!
The fact that you are also only held in by a lap restraint rather than an over the shoulder one also adds to the sensation.
There is always more stomach chunks spewed around this ride than any other that I can see!
