Heavy rain can really ruin a theme park trip, especially when it forces the closure of major rides. Six Flags is currently testing out a new "weather guarantee" scheme at Six Flags New England, which could be rolled out further if it proves to be a success. Guests will receive a free return pass for the park if rain forces it to close its biggest rides for more than an hour. Meanwhile, Tokyo Disneyland has kicked off its 30th anniversary celebrations, while Universal Orlando is gearing up for its annual Christian music festival.
