Theme park news round-up - March 26, 2013

Kentucky Kingdom entrance

The Disney Dreams show has proven to be very popular at Disneyland Paris, finally providing the park with the night-time spectacular that it sorely needed. Rather than stand still, though, the park has added two new scenes to the show, based on The Lion King and Brave. Meanwhile, the updated interactive queue for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Disney's Magic Kingdom is nearly complete, while the planned rescue of Kentucky Kingdom will cost more than originally thought.

Disneyland Paris has debuted an updated version of its popular Disney Dreams night-time show, boasting new scenes based on The Lion King and Brave.

Disney's Magic Kingdom

The updated interactive queue line for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Disney's Magic Kingdom is almost completed. The Laughing Place has posted a series of videos and photos showing off some of the new additions.

Knott's Berry Farm

Knott's Berry Farm has released a new image showing off progress on the construction of Coast Rider, the new family roller coaster that will debut at the park on May 25, 2013.

Kentucky Kingdom

Ed Hart, the former of Kentucky Kingdom who is hoping to take over as the new operator of the shuttered park, has claimed that restoring its rides to working order will cost more than originally thought. However, he still hopes to reopen it by May 24, 2014.
