Knott's Berry Farm is replacing its former Perilous Plunge water ride with three new family attractions for the 2013 season, and has now confirmed that the rides will open in time for the Memorial Day weekend on May 25. Meanwhile, Disneyland has confirmed that it will host several special events to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room, while Orlando's Mayor has hinted that Universal Studios Florida's new Harry Potter land could open as soon as next year.

Knott's Berry Farm has confirmed that its three new family rides for the 2013 season will officially debut on May 25, in time for the busy Memorial Day Weekend.

Disneyland has revealed details of the special events that will be held to mark the 50th anniversary of the opening of Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room. A variety of limited edition merchandise will be on offer during the events, which will be held on June 28-29, 2013.

Disneyland and Disney's Magic Kingdom
Inside the Magic compares the latest Limited Time Magic events at Disneyland and Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom. Both parks hosted barbershop quarter the Dapper Dans, who were singing a medley of boy band songs. However, the two groups have significantly different styles.

Universal Studios Florida
Construction work on the new Harry Potter land at Universal Studios Florida continues apace, and Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer is now quoted as saying that the area will debut in 2014. However, Universal has cautioned that the Mayor's words should be taken with a pinch of salt.
