Theme park news round-up - February 12, 2013

Walt Disney World began enforcing FASTPASS return windows last year, in preparation for the introduction of the FASTPASS+ advanced ride booking system. Now, the Disneyland Resort is to follow in its foosteps, although there's no word as yet from Disney that FASTPASS+ is on its way to California. Meanwhile, Disneyland Paris will update the Disney Dreams show in April, while Lightwater Valley has confirmed a new addition for the 2013 season.
Disneyland Resort
The Disneyland Resort is set to begin stricter enforcement of the time windows employed by its FASTPASS queue-jumping system, following in the footsteps of Walt Disney World.

Universal Orlando Resort
The Orlando Sentinel takes a spin around the many construction sites at Universal Orlando, including the future Harry Potter area at Universal Studios Florida.

Disneyland Paris
Disneyland Paris has confirmed that it will celebrate the first anniversary of the debut of the popular Disney Dreams show by adding to two new scenes to it in April 2013. Repacing the existing Mary Poppins and The Jungle Book scenes will be new sections inspired by The Lion King and Pixar's Brave.

Lightwater Valley
Lightwater Valley has confirmed that it will open a new themed area, Eagle's Creek Farm, for the 2013 season. Headlined by a tractor ride acquired from the shuttered Loudoun Castle theme park in 2010, the new area will be themed around a farmyard.

Flamingo Land
In addition to the Zamperla Volare flying roller coaster that is due to replace the former Wild Mouse, Flamingo Land's Mark Crane has also let slip that the park will be adding a junior twisting coaster from the Italian firm to its line-up in 2013. Mushroom Productions captured the admission in the video below.
