LEGOLAND theme parks are no strangers to bizarre world record attempts, and the recently-opened LEGOLAND Malaysia has now joined the party with an attempt to build the world's longest LEGO snake. Meanwhile, Six Flags Magic Mountain has teamed up with Australian rock band Airbourne to create an original theme song for the Full Throttle roller coaster, and the historic Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach is adding a spinning coaster to its line-up.

To tie-in with the opening of Full Throttle, Six Flags Magic Mountain's latest major roller coaster, the park has teamed up with Australian rock band Airbourne to release a new song dubbed "Live it Up".

As part of its celebrations of the upcoming Chinese New Year, LEGOLAND Malaysia plans to build the longest LEGO snake in the world. It will measure some 300 metres-plus, with guests being invited to help build it.
