After weeks of speculation that the ride would not be ready for the start of the 2013 season, Alton Towers has confirmed that The Smiler roller coaster will now debut in May. Meanwhile, sister park Thorpe Park has announced that the back two rows of The Swarm will be reversed to enable riders to experience it backwards, while LEGOLAND Florida will host several special Star Wars events this year.
