While the planning system in the UK can be a real pain for theme parks and their fans, it does often mean that we gain an early glimpse at parks' future proposals. Today, we've got a detailed look at Alton Towers' long-term development plan, which includes an intriguing "Cross Valley" roller coaster through the park's famous gardens.
Alton Towers
Alton Towers has released its long-term development plan, showing how it plans to evolve between 2012 and 2019. There are some exciting proposals for new rides and attractions, and we've broken it all down in a detailed feature.

Disney's Hollywood Studios

After yesterday's flood of concept art for the updated Test Track - presented by Chevrolet, Disney has now released artwork showing how guests will design their own vehicle in the ride's queue line.

Magic Kingdom
Walt Disney World has released concept artwork for the new Celebrate the Magic show at the Magic Kingdom, which will debut later this month. The show will replace the park's existing projection show, "The Magic, The Memories and You", and will be similar in style. However, whereas its predecessor involved photographs of guests at the park being projected onto the iconic castle, "Celebrate the Magic" will replace these with a story-driven set of images and music.
