It's a somewhat quiet news day today, with US parks in particular unlikely to make major announcements while the East Coast is still being battered by wind and rain. PortAventura fans, though, will be interested to see how the popular Spanish park celebrates the Halloween period.
Walt Disney World's Downtown Disney
Animated pair Phineas and Ferb are currently appearing in Phineas and Ferb & YOU: A Brand New Reality at Downtown Disney's West Side. Guests can take part in one of 20 animated, 30-second scenes, and will then be able to access a photo of themselves in action via a special website.

Disneyland Resort, Walt Disney World
Several Imagineers and Disney-inspired artists will be displaying their works at locations at the Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World over the coming months. The Disney Parks Blog has all the details.

Speaking of the Disney Parks Blog, its writers are never shy of plugging the latest merchandise on offer at the company's US parks. The most recent batch is designed to tie-in with Wreck-It Ralph, the animated movie about a video game character that is bound to appeal to lovers of retro arcade games. The 8-bit style items that are on offer are likely to find good homes.
