Video: Updated Country Bear Jamboree show returns at Disney's Magic Kingdom

The Country Bear Jamboree has returned to the Magic Kingdom in a slightly updated format.

The Country Bear Jamboree show at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom has returned to action after a refurishment period, featuring a more compact running length.

Disney has released a video featuring several of its Imagineers discussing the changes that have been made to the animatronic show, which first opened in October 1971. In addition to sprucing up the bears themselves and updating the theater that hosts the show, the Imagineers also opted to cut several elements from the previous version of the Country Bear Jamboree.

Country Bear Jamboree is an old-fashioned variety show, in which animatronic bears performance classic country songs. A clone of the attraction was in place at Disneyand from 1972 until its removal in 2001.
