Pleasure Island in Cleethorpes has announced that it will replace its existing Electic Monorail ride with a new tractor ride in March 2013.
This is Grimbsy reports that the park will also install a petting farm alongside the new ride, as part of a revamp of the Kiddies Kingdom area. Pleasure Island will spend £500,000 on the updates, with the attractions set to debut on March 29, 2013.
The existing Electic Monorail takes guests around the the Kiddies Kingdom and White Knuckle Valley areas. Its replacement will offer an aerial view of the petting farm, and will offer a four-minute ride experience.
The farm itself will absorb the majority of the budget for the upgrades, costing some £350,000. Spanning 2.5 acres, it will host pigs, cows, sheep and miniature horses.
