"Wreck-It Ralph" meet-and-greets coming to Disneyland and Disney's Hollywood StudiosBy , Friday, September 21, 2012 10:13
Disney has announced that meet-and-greet experiences with the characters from upcoming animated movie Wreck-It Ralph will debut soon at two of its US theme parks.
Lead characters Ralph and Vanellope Von Schweetz will be on hand to meet guests at Disneyland and Disney's Hollywood Studios. In the movie, Ralph is an arcade game "baddie" who tires of being defeated by "good guy" Fix-It Felix, and escapes via the game's power lead. He then teams up with Vanellope, the star of another game, to rescue the arcade.
The characters will make regular appearances at the Magic of Disney Animation attraction at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Guests will be able to view scenes from the arcade games before coming face-to-face with Ralph and Vanellope.
The experience at Disneyland will be slightly different, with the characters being housed in the Tomorrowland Starcade. Guests will be able to play a game of Fix-It Felix, Jr. while they wait.
Wreck-It Ralph will be released in US theaters on November 2, arriving in the UK on February 13, 2013. It will feature John C. Reilly, Jack McBrayer and Sarah Silverman as the voices of Ralph, Felix and Vanellope respectively.
