Video: World of Disney store opens at Disneyland Paris

The Disneyland Resort Paris has opened its sprawling new World of Disney store to members of the public for the first time, ahead of its official debut on July 12, 2012.
The store has been open for a number of days, enabling guests to explore its Art Deco-style interior and, of course, to buy Disney-branded merchandise. Covering more than 1,400 square-metres of the Disney Village entertainment and shopping district, the store is similar to the identically-named outlets at the Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World.

The architecture of the World of Disney building is designed to evoke the "grand magasins" in nearby Paris. It is a major addition to the Disney Village area, which has undergone significant changes this year in order to tie in with the Disneyland Resort Paris' 20th anniversary celebrations.
Disneyland Paris has also confirmed that it will host a special fireworks display on Bastille Day, which falls on Saturday, July 14. It will take place after the nightly performance of the Disney Dreams show, which is normally scheduled for 11pm.
