Warner Bros. Movie World to open Justice League: Alien Invasion 3D in September 2012

Warner Bros. Movie World on Australia's Gold Coast has confirmed that it will open a new dark ride, Justice League: Alien Invasion, in September 2012.
The attraction will be themed around DC Comics' Justice League characters, including Batman, Superman and the Green Lantern. Its storyline will see guests battling aliens as they attack the earth, with the new addition to Warner Bros. Movie World set to be an interactive laser gun ride.
Justice League: Alien Invasion will feature 3-D movie footage, 16 animatronic figures and 20 themed vehicles. Riders will be challenged to shoot as many aliens as possible, before receiving a score at the end of the ride.
A total of $9 million is being spent on the project by Warner Bros. Movie World, which opened the rethemed Arkham Asylum - Shock Therapy roller coaster earlier in 2012. Florida-based Sally Corporation is supplying the ride system.
