The Universal Orlando Resort has released a new video in which Steven Spielberg offers a sneak peek at the Universal's Cinematic Spectacular show.
In the video, embedded below, the legendary movie director discusses his views on the night-time spectacular, which will debut at Universal Studios Florida on May 8, 2012. Towards the end of the video, footage of the show itself is included, showing the large water screens that have been installed in the park's lagoon.
Universal's Cinematic Spectacular: 100 Years of Movie Memories will be performed nightly during the summer season, and will combine light, sound and special effects. Memorable moments from almost 200 films will be projected onto the water screens, with Morgan Freeman providing commentary.
Alongside the show, an all-new parade will also begin performances at Universal Studios Florida on May 8. The Universal Superstar Parade will feature a number of large floats accompanied by a host of popular cartoon characters, along with hundreds of street performers.
