Universal Studios Singapore has announced that a new parade, Hollywood Dreams, will make its debut at the park on December 31, 2011.

Featuring a cast of more than 100 performers, the parade will wind its way through five of Universal Studios Singapore's seven themed lands. It will feature floats themed around attractions at the park, special effects, costumed characters, dancers and a custom soundtrack.

Hollywood Dreams will run for around 30 minutes once a day on Fridays and Saturdays, as well as during selected holidays. It will be included with the standard price of admission to the theme park.

Ahead of the debut of the new parade, Unviersal Studios Singapore is gearing up for its Christmas celebrations. This will see the resort lit up with more than 240,000 LED lights, at a cost of around $1.5 million. The park will also host South-East Asia's tallest Christmas tree, which will stand at some 38 meters tall.
