Drayton Manor to host fireworks event to mark end of 2011 season

Drayton Manor will get into the Olympic spirit with a sports-themed firework display.
Drayton Manor will mark the end of its 2011 season with a fireworks and laser display on October 29 and 30, accompanied by famous sporting anthems.
The shows will take place at 7pm, with the last guests being admitted at 6pm. Each will last 30 minutes, and will held around Drayton Manor's central lake. The sports theme has been selected to tie-in with the build up to the 2012 London Olympics.
As a special bonus, Drayton Manor will remain open until 9pm on both days, enabling guests to enjoy some of its most popular attractions in the dark. In addition, DJs from Heart FM will play music all over the park during the evenings.
The highlight of the 2011 season at Drayton Manor was the opening of Ben 10: Ultimate Mission, the first Vekoma Junior Boomerang rollercoaster in the world. Based on the popular Ben 10 Cartoon Network series, it was reviewed in depth by Theme Park Tourist in April.
