LEGOLAND Windsor has begun taking bookings for the under-construction LEGOLAND Hotel, which is due to open in March 2012.
The £18.5 million hotel will feature 150 LEGO-themed rooms, as well as conferencing facilities. It will feature three types of room based based around pirates, adventurers and kingdoms, each featuring interactive elements designed to keep children entertained. This will include secret whoopee cushions, exploding toy boxes and LEGO treasure trails.
A LEGO Pirates-themed swimming pool will be a central feature of the LEGOLAND Hotel, while nightly children's entertainment will also be on offer. A buffet-style restaurant will serve up fresh food designed to appeal to kids. For older guests, the hotel will include a bar and an outdoor lakeside seating area.

The LEGOLAND Hotel will sit on the former site of the Jungle Coaster, close to the Adventure Land area at the rear of the park. Prices start from £285 during the low season for a themed family room (for 2 adults and 2 children), including breakfast, 2-day tickets for LEGOLAND Windsor and early entry to the park 30 minutes before it opens. This will rise to a minimum of £385 during the peak summer season, although Annual Passholders will be eligible for discounts.
LEGOLAND Windsor is offering the chance to win one of 150 stays in the hotel to guests who visit the park on October 1, 2011 dressed in their pyjamas. For those not lucky enough to win, rooms can be booked via the LEGOLAND Holidays website.
