The new Ocean Ocean killer whale show has officially opened at SeaWorld San Diego, replacing Believe in the park's Shamu Stadium.

The show, which has already opened at sister park SeaWorld Orlando, made its debut in California on May 26, 2011. Featuring a new set, panoramic LED screens and an all-new soundtrack, One Ocean delivers an educational message that is designed to inspire guests to "celebrate, connect and care" for the ocean.

Stunts performed by the SeaWorld Orlando's killer whales are the centerpiece of One Ocean. These include spectacular aerial leaps and sections featuring multiple whales, which help to compensate for the current lack of human-whale in-water interaction. Trainers are set to return to the water when new safety measures are in place, following the tragic death of Dawn Brancheau in February 2010.

One Ocean is expected to be in place for some time at all three SeaWorld parks, with Believe having run for five years before its replacement was announced.
