Blizzard Beach refurbishment extended at Walt Disney World

Blizzard Beach will now be closed through March 23, 2010.

Walt Disney World and Disneyland have revealed updated "rehab" schedules, with the most significant change being an extension to the closure of the Blizzard Beach water park.

The park at Walt Disney World will now be closed through March 23, rather than March 20 as previously listed. The Teamboat Springs water slides will remain closed through May 15. Other major updates include a month-long rehab for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Disneyland, which will be closed between April 16 and May 16.
