Thorpe Park has revealed that it will open a new walk-through "horror maze" themed around the Saw movies in Spring 2010.

The plan to open the maze, to be known as Saw Alive, was revealed in a new poster at the park. It is likely to be similar to the horror mazes seen at both Thorpe Park and Alton Towers during their respective Halloween events, which see groups of guests being terrorised by live actors.

Saw Alive will be the second attraction at Thorpe Park themed around the movie franchise, which has now reached its sixth installment. This year the park opened Saw: The Ride, a Gerstlauer Euro-Fighter coaster featuring encounters with Jigsaw, the evil genius in the movies.

Thorpe Park has been in the news recently following a publicity stunt that saw an exorcist called in after staff held a "seance" on the coaster.
