Walt Disney World raises parking prices

Walt Disney World has increased the daily parking price for cars at its theme parks from $12 to $14.
The move will affect day guests and those travelling from hotels outside the world. Those staying in Walt Disney World Resorts will not be affected as free parking is included in their stay. Annual passholders are also eligible for free parking.
The parking fee applies at Disney's four theme parks - the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disney's Animal Kingdom. Parking at the Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon water parks is free. If moving between parks during the day, guests can show their parking receipt from the first to receive free parking at the second.
Higher prices apply to other categories of vehicle. These have also seen a $2 increase. The full list of Walt Disney World parking prices is given below:
- Car/Taxi/Shuttle/Limousine/Motorcycle - $14 (previously $12)
- Camper/Trailer - $15 (previously $13)
- Bus/Tractor trailer - $18 (previously $16)

An inevitable rise!!!
I would have been quite annoyed if I had to pay for parking everyday- luckily we were staying in Animal Kingdom Lodge so parking and buses were free.
If they are desperate to claw back extra money surely it would be better to add a few more dollars onto park tickets and reduce parking fees!!
This would have less noticeable impact on guests- especially thoses having to pay $14 a day to park their car!!!
