Dueling Dragons to close in late August?

The Dueling Dragons rollercoasters at Universal's Islands of Adventure could be set to close in late August in order to be updated to a new Harry Potter theme.
Screamscape reports that the attraction, which has long been expected to undergo an extensive transformation, is likely to be renamed Dragon's Challenge. It will become part of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, which is due to open in 2010. TPT will report any confirmed closure date as soon as it is known.
Dueling Dragons is a hugely popular inverted coaster featuring two separate tracks - Fire and Ice - which come perilously close to collision during the ride. The new Potter theme is likely to see the tracks renamed to something more consistent with J.K. Rowling's stories.
The coasters were briefly shut down earlier this month after an employee was hit by a ride train. The ride has since reopened, with the park blaming human error rather than any fault with the ride itself.
You can keep up-to-date with the latest confirmed and rumored temporary ride closures through Theme Park Tourist's "Rehab Watch".
What a relief!!!!
I am so pleased to hear that Dueling Dragons will be open until the end of august!! I am going to Florida for my Honeymoon and this was one of the rides I really wanted to go on!!!
Thanks for the good news TPT!!!!
