Key Information
El Aserradero holds the distinction of being the world's first log flume ride, having been constructed by former Disney supplier Arrow Dynamics. The firm, which has since gone bankrupt, went on to construct dozens of similar rides at other theme parks all over the world.
The Six Flags Over Texas attraction actually features two separate circuits - the first having been built in 1963, with a second added in 1968. As with its successor rides, both circuits see guests board log-themed boats that float around a watery circuit. A final drop section will leave many of them soaked.
