Key Information
X2, previously known as X, was the world's first "4th Dimension" rollercoaster, with the trains' seats able to rotate 360 degrees during the ride. Built by Arrow Dynamics, it suffered from serious problems even before its opening day, eventually opening half a year late. The delays to the opening of the prototype coaster, combined with subsequent modifications that were required to its trains, eventually forced Arrow out of business.
The coaster underwent a major refurbishment in 2008, adding new trains, special effects and paint, and received its new name of X2.
