Stand-up roller coaster Apocalypse - The Last Stand was relocated to Six Flags America from Six Flags Great America, where it was known as Iron Wolf. It features a maximum height of 100 feet and hits a top speed of 55 miles per hour, racing through two inversions during its 2,900-feet circuit.
In its new home, Apocalypse has undergone an extensive retheming to fit in with its "end of the world" backstory. A number of "wrecked" vehicles are situated alongside its circuit, with fire effects and evidence of zombies roaming the landscape also being used to add to the atmosphere.
The revamped Bolliger & Mabillard coaster replaced the closed Skull Mountain attraction in the Skull Island area of Six Flags America.
