Fire Academy is one of the most unique and popular rides at LEGOLAND Windsor. It sees guests boarding miniature, LEGO-themed fire engines which are propelled forwards by adults pumping an arm up and and down. When the engines reach a mock “burning” building, children can them pump water at it to douse the flames.
Riders are placed into groups of 4, before boarding one of 8 fire engines (which are split into two sets of 4). The aim of the game is reach the flames, extinguish them and return to the start before any of the 3 other engines that “race” alongside you.Review:
As popular (if not more so) with parents as with children, Fire Academy is a genuinely groundbreaking attraction and one of the very best on offer at LEGOLAND Windsor. Competitive adults will be in heaven as they race to outshine other parents, while kids will love the chance to become a “hero”. Not to be missed.Top Tip:
Like Driving School and Boating School, Fire Academy is very, very popular. Except large queues from mid-morning onwards, and try and hit the ride early.
