Opened in time for the 2010, Ednor - L'Attaque is themed around the "legend" of a sea monster. The Vekoma-designed suspended looping coaster was previously known as Serial Thriller, and was one of the last attractions to be installed at Six Flags Astroworld in Texas before its 2005 closure. Its circuit features five inversions, with the trains hitting a top speed of 49.7 miles per hour.
The story for the ride involves a sea monster (named Ednor) which allegedly escaped from the park's Lac aux Dauphins, over which the ride was constructed. According to La Ronde, the monster escaped into the St. Lawrence river - where it has been recorded in a series of viral videos posted online. The attraction itself features a pre-show that shows off "footage" of sea monsters around the world.
Riders pass within 3 metres of Lac aux Dauphins' surface. In addition, the monster itself "appears" in a series of special effects.
