La Cabane des Robinson is Disneyland Paris’ version of the Swiss Family Treehouse seen at several other Disney parks. Based on the Disney movie “Swiss Family Robinson”, it is a recreation of the island treehouse which the family established as their home following a shipwreck.
Based around an enormous artificial tree, the walkthrough attraction depicts the life of the family on the island, complete with notes from Father to explain the purpose of each area of the treehouse. These include the kitchen, library and bedrooms, all recreated in intricate detail.Review:
Few other theme parks even attempt walkthrough attractions, but this is another Disney classic. While it will hardly set the pulses racing like Space Mountain: Mission 2 or big thunder mountain, La Cabane des Robinson offers an enjoyable chance to step into a classic Disney movie.
For many, La Cabane des Robinson will offer a perfect post-lunch activity before heading to Pirates of the Caribbean. Be warned, though, that climbing to the top of the treehouse does involve some physical exertion and several flights of steps, and may not be suitable for all guests.Top Tip:
The views of Adventureland from the top of the treehouse are impressive. Even if you’re not interested in the Swiss Family Robinson, consider climbing to its summit anyway.
