Sandwiches and pastries
Themed around San Francisco’s famous cable car system, the Cable Car Bake Shop combines a small bakery counter with a large counter offering salads, baguettes and sandwiches. A limited amount of seating is available, both in the Bake Shop itself and in the adjacent Discovery ArcadeReview:
The selection of cookies and pastries on offer at the Cable Car Bake Shop are hard to resist, and the queues prior to parades reflect this. Head in early to grab your snack.
As a lunch or dinner option, the baguettes and sandwiches can make a welcome change from burgers and pizza. However, parents of fussy children (and fussy adults) will be slightly frustrated by the lack of “plain” fillings on offer – how many guests really want a gherkin in their ham and cheese baguette?
