Located near Exeter, Devon's Crealy was one of two parks in the Crealy Great Adventure Parks chain, while the other was Cornwall's Crealy. The latter is now under new ownership and called Camel Creek. Devon's Crealy features a countryside theme, with a number of animal attractions being dotted around the park alongside kids' play areas. It is also home to a variety of small-scale rides, with the big draws being the Maximus roller coaster, the Tidal Wave log flume and the Vortex water coaster.

Park History

The park was founded by Angela Wright in 1989, after she purchased the land from Cambridge University. Attractions based around farmyard animals have always been one of its dominant features, but Devon's Crealy has gradually expanded over the years to incorporate a greater variety of rides and shows. Since the 2004 purchase of Cornwall's Crealy, a number of new elements based around the Buddy Bear mascot have been introduced at both parks.
