The bizarrely-named There's Something in the Dung Heap is an adventure playground located in the Old MacDonald's Farmyard area of Alton Towers. The playground is split into four distinct areas, each targeted at a different age group. These include:

• Soil Albug Hall - an undercover hall in which kids of any age group can interact with "bugs" that react to their movements.
• Mr Mushroom's Magic Maze - a maze in which the objective is to find Mr Mushroom.
• The Toxic Bog - a playground aimed at younger guests between the heights of 0.9m-1.4m.
• Cobweb Capers - includes climbing "webs" and a zip line, which are suitable for children between the heights of 1.1m-1.4m.
