Universal Orlando has a few standout restaurants that everyone knows about, but some of the tastiest spots on property receive little hype.

Unless you’re in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter or headed for Mythos, you’ll probably eat at whatever is nearest when your stomach starts rumbling. For something memorable that’s worth your money, try these delicious spots.

1. Finnegan’s Bar and Grill (Universal Studios Florida)

Finnegan's

Tucked away on a side street in New York at Universal Studios Florida, this restaurant is easy to pass without a second glance. This is an ideal spot for a satisfying table service meal. The building is themed to an Irish pub, complete with live music wafting in from the bar in back. Every meal comes with soda bread and apple butter, so you have something to snack on while you wait for the mains to arrive.

The Potato and Onion Webb is a favorite starter we never go without. The rest of the menu features Irish classics like Fish n’ Chips and Corned Beef and Cabbage interspersed with versatile favorites like a sirloin steak or bacon cheeseburger.

2. Kid Zone Pizza Company (Universal Studios Florida)

KidZone Pizza Company

The Kid Zone Pizza Company is off to the side near the path that leads back to Woody Woodpecker’s Kidzone in Universal Studios Florida. While the fare is pretty standard, it’s all extremely kid-friendly if you have picky eaters in the party. There are outside tables to sit at, and the out-of-the-way location means that this spot isn’t swamped as often as other nearby dining options. Choose from chicken fingers, pizza, or a chef salad.

3. The Watering Hole (Islands of Adventure)

The Watering Hole

The Watering Hole is incredibly easy to miss, particularly with alternatives like The Burger Digs and Thunder Falls Terrace placed more prominently throughout Jurassic Park at Islands of Adventure.

This counter service food stand is near the end of Jurassic Park that leads into the Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Hogsmeade. You can grab a famous Nathan’s hot dog here as part of a complete meal – topped with chili and accompanied by chips. You can also grab classic quick service options like nachos, chicken wings, and a loaded bowl of chili. Beer, wine, and mixed drinks are on hand as well.
